You are invited to the 8th annual Asti Tour de Vine, a 25k, 50k, 100k or 100m Rockpile or 100m flat bicycle tour in Northern California’s breathtaking Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys on Saturday, October 10, 2015. This event is hosted by the Cloverdale Rotary Club, a non-profit organization. Proceeds help support local community programs and projects.
October in Northern Sonoma County is a beautiful time of year for a bike ride. The air has a heavy hint of autumn and the vineyards and foliage are turning brilliant shades of orange, gold and fiery red. Our routes will take you along uncrowded back roads, past autumn-hued vineyards.
The weather will confirm it – fall is definitely in the air!
This leisurely tour begins in Cloverdale exact location TBD. Check in between 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., and start your morning with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, fruit and a pastry.
Ride at your own pace and choose the route that is best for you: 25k, 50k, 100k or 100 mile and our new 100m Flat ride, all are scenic! For the extreme challenge, included in the 100 mile, is the Rockpile Rumble. The additional out and back 25 mile journey will get your heart pounding and your thighs burning as you climb nearly 2,500 feet, enjoying the breathtaking views of beautiful Lake Sonoma.
Local foods and beverages will be served at the four harvest-inspired, themed rest stops, and SAG support is provided throughout the course. After your tour, return by 3:30 p.m. for a bountiful gourmet luncheon paired with beer and wine. All riders will be entered in a raffle for prizes, including wine and other fun items!
Registration for this exclusive tour is limited. The registration fee is $85.00 for adults and $40.00 for students; ages 14-17. Students must be at least 14 years of age.
