Asti Tour de Vine

Autumn Bicycle Tour                             October 18, 2008

About the Tour

You are invited to the Asti Tour de Vine, a
25, 50 or 100K Bicycle Tour on Saturday, October 18, 2008, in California’s breathtaking Alexander, Dry Creek, Chalk Hill and Russian River Valleys.  This event is hosted by Cloverdale Rotary, a non-profit organization.  All proceeds will support local community programs and projects.

October is a beautiful time of year in northern Sonoma County.
Ride through charming rural valleys, past autumn-hued vineyards and the meandering Russian River.  The weather will confirm it – fall is in the air!

This leisurely tour begins at Cellar No. 8 Wines, located at the historic Asti Winery.  Check in between 7:00a.m. - 9:00 a.m.; have a cup of coffee and pastry to start your morning.

Ride at your own pace.  Besides the 100k route, there are also 25k and 50k ones to choose from – all scenic!  In fall, the burnished vineyards are glowing with harvest colors; crimson, gold and tawny.  The gently rolling hills offer the finest of northern Sonoma County views.

L
ocal foods and beverages will be served at the three harvest-inspired theme rest stops and SAG support is provided throughout the course.   After your tour, return to the Asti Winery by 2:30 p.m. for a bountiful gourmet luncheon, accompanied by Cellar No. 8 wines.  You will also receive an event t-shirt, event packet and will be entered in a raffle for many prizes including wine, bike jerseys and other fun items!

R
egistration for this exclusive ride is limited.  The pre-registration fee is $55.00 for adults and $35.00 for students; minors must be at least 14 years of age.  See our Registration page for information.

Why not spend the weekend?  Our area boasts lovely bed and breakfast inns and lodging facilities, close to wineries, shops, recreation and fine dining.  Check out our sponsors for some great referrals!
